Lifesigns - Happiness is the Road !

Greetings, Lifesigns Fan,

Welcome to the Lifesigns Newsletter, and as the title suggests we are out on the road with a series of incredibly important gigs for the band. We hope that the Summer period will give you all time for a well deserved rest and time to recuperate. Let's hope that the sun will shine over the next few months !

Happiness is the Road - On Tour with Marillion

After a very successful appearance at the Marillion Convention in Port Zealand last year, we are honoured to have been invited to tour with them on their German leg in July 2016.

With the release of their new album F.E.A.R. imminent, this is an important time for them and for us. It will be one of our first chances to play in front of our already established German fans, and It will also be a great opportunity to bring our music to a wider audience. We are all very much looking forward to getting out on the road again.

The Festivals

As the Summer sun starts to shine (?) upon us, so the season of Summer Festivals gets underway, and this year we are very privileged to have been invited to play several very high profile festivals in the UK and Europe. Lifesigns will be one of many excellent bands to be seen on the bill of these festivals, so we hope that a number of you will be there to enjoy the diversity of music on show, but also to cheer us on as well. We are normally out and about at Festivals, so please make yourselves known and come and say "Hi" to us !

Fairport Convention - Cropredy, Oxon 12th August

Possibly one of the most established festivals in the annual calendar is the Fairport Convention held each year at Cropredy, Oxfordshire. Many esteemed Prog legends have played this festival, so it is a huge privilege to be invited to play this year. We will be playing on the Friday, 12th August along with Steeleye Span.

Trading Boundaries - 17th/18th June 2016

A wonderful weekend of fun and music was had on the 17th and 18th of June at Trading Boundaries. We had a fun packed weekend as we played to an open audience on the 17th and for Clive Hancock's Birthday Party on the 18th. Trading Boundaries is always a delight to play and this year was no exception. It really is a great place to share a meal, have fun and see some great bands. It also helped blow away a few cobwebs since our last gig in January !

And Finally.....

Work has been continuing on our second album to be titled Cardington. All of the boys have been hard at it in the studio over the last few months and we are beginning to get an idea of what is likely to end up on the final record. There is still quite a way to go, but rest assured that work is ongoing and we will keep you updated and informed of progress through our usual Social Media sites. Don't worry the pledge campaign will be announced before too be prepared !
